What a great presentation. The red shirt was in full effect, I may be some kind of groupie, but I appreciate it when someone properly rehearses and produces a solid presentation. I look forward to Mix every year.

Absolutely awesome. I really can't wait to get my hands on one of these devices. I can think of three things I already want to do with it for work! Thanks Microsoft for making such and awesome tooling experience using what we already know and love, you guys/girls are stars!!!!!!!!

Great presentation!Scott Gu always did great presentation.I was expecting interesting stuff about WM7 but Microsoft excedeed my expectations.WM7 will change the mobile industry.

Exactly one thing will force companies and vendors to finally upgrade: Microsoft dropping support for IE6.

Just to be clear, everyone that wants IE6 dead is already doing everything they have the power to do.
I really wish I felt like Microsoft had our back, but apart from a smallish marketing campaign, you'd think IE6 would be supported forever. Has there been any hard publication by Microsoft about the end of life date for IE6 (digging through levels of product support in a giant chart doesn't count).

Why are you so amazed about WP7 ?
First of all, that UI and UX are ugly. I can't imagine how Microsoft could presented such things.
The multi-tasking is a joke, no copy/paste support, no flash, applications available only via Marketplace.
This WP7 is so lame. Really.

Silverlight control streams the video for some 5 minutes and it stuck... I have a 7 Mbps connection and still buffering...very badly.

I'm finding the available bandwidth to be really low. Starts nicely at about 1.2 MB, drop to 18K in a couple of minutes. Even for downloading the wmv. :-( Perhaps it'll improve next week.

The availability and streaming problems with these videos are going make it hard for skeptics to accept the promises contained within them. Someone should jump on an explaination it seems. Not upset, just curious as heck how mix keynotes are harder to deliver than the Olympics.

The issue with buffering has nothing to do with Silverlight. It turns out that the demand was way higher than the CDN was prepared for. Mike Swanson discusses the issue at http://blogs.msdn.com/mswanson/.

The video streaming technology didn't feel entirely mature even on this page. It works fine until I jumped to an unbuffered part and it seems to take forever to accomplish it
