So, I take it that there's going to be a 'little' focus on games, huh? ;-)

That's a lot of content for application development. I hope it confirms my expectations of a "No backward compatibility" mode for a new UX.
Considering the current market share and loss of popularity for WM, now is the time to cut the cord and bring a modern UX API on top of the already decent WinMo kernel.

This looks great. Will this resolve some of the real usage issues I have had with Windows Mobile (HTC Fuze):
1) I travel out of the country and need to turn off the data connection due to high cost. Will I be able to easily do this on WP7 and will all apps be forced to respect this? On WM many apps the data connection seems to turn on by itself due to apps trying to connect and costs me $$$.
2) Will it be easy to turn on/off/change bluetooth devices while on calls. For example, switching from headset to car bluetooth and vice versa, or turn on bluetooth to send call to car audio without getting into accident. Or easily and quickly switch between speakerphone (I assume there is one) to headset to normal while on a call.
3) Will it drop calls less often than WM?
4) How does locking\unlocking work? For example, I keep my WM phone in my pocket and when I get a text message the phone unlocks to show me the message and starts pressing buttons.
